Relationships - Self Love Relationship - Loving self means caring about self, taking responsibility for self, respecting self, and truly knowing self-being realistic and honest about one's strengths and weaknesses. In order to be able to truly love another person, a person needs first to love self in this way.  
Loving yourself is an important part of enjoying and getting the most out of your life. It's also crucial for getting and maintaining satisfying relationships with others. Loving yourself is mainly having self-respect, which is one dependable way to create love in your own life. To be able to be loved, you must love and respect yourself as much as you do others.  
Aiming for Perfection is always great, but stop criticizing yourself for being anything less. Always do your best, not reaching perfection does not mean failure. High expectations of self are meant to help better fulfill you not to torment you. Remember that no matter what, you will always be perfect just the way you are, flaws and all (always put forth wiser and healthier efforts to improve self). OH YES! You are all that and then some!!
