Host Joyce Cade-Hitchye has a conversation with Cherisse Bradley, a Flint, Michigan native whose early foundation in musical theater began at the age of 10 her hometown community. She has over 15 years of experience in various communities, as well as the city of Flint by enhancing the youth as an artistic advocate, mentor, educator, choreographer, tap dance instructor and performing.
Having such a passion for the arts has inspired her to embark on a journey to use her own personal survivor’s story of sexual abuse to help inspire others. She was recently awarded a grant by the Greater Flint Arts Council for a project called “I FOUND MY VOICE” a Creative Arts Wellness initiative that uses the art of poetry, music, and dance in group settings for healing and expression. I FOUND MY VOICE is sponsored by the Greater Flint Arts Council and YWCA.
