Seattle7writers is a collective of Pacific Northwest authors creating connections between writers, readers, librarians and booksellers to foster and support a passion for the written word. Michael is the culinary director and partner for the Union Square Hospitality Group and a winner of the James Beard Award for Best Chef in NYC!
Michael has appeared on David Letterman, Martha Steward Show, Today, Good Morning America, Regis & Kelly and more.
He is culinary director and partner for the Union Square Hospitality Group and he received the James Beard Award for Best Chef in New York City. Under his direction the Union Square Cafe was named Outstanding Restaurant of the Year by the James Beard Foundation. Michael has been inducted into the "Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America".
