A little about Brooke 'Viosocalist' Alford:

A native of Aberdeen, NC, raised in Marietta, GA, and currently residing in Princeton, NJ, Brooke “Viosocalist” Alford is a national recording and performing Artist of the Violin. Typically, one would refer to an individual who plays the violin as a Violinist; however, Brooke likes to refer to herself as an Artist of the Violin. Her artist name, “Viosocalist” [Pronounced: VIO (as in “Violin”)-SOUL-KA- LIST], which means a violin player who soulfully sings through the violin, describes her playing and unique style in one exclusive title.

An extremely versatile and dynamic artist, Brooke plays in styles including, but not limited to Contemporary Jazz, Gospel, Classical, Pop, and R&B. She has opened for national and international recording artists such as Najee (Nah-G), Will Downing, Paul Taylor, Eric Darius, Rick Braun, Alicia Meyers, and Marion Meadows and has shared the stage with James Ingram, Kenneth Edmonds (better  known as “Babyface”), Frank McComb, and Alex Bugnon (Boon-yun)...
