Tanya Leno lives in Union City, California.with her husband William and 2 sons, Bilal and K'hari. She's employed as a Computer Operations Specialist for a local school district. Her struggle with her weight began at the age of 14, and she went on my 1st "diet" at 15. This is where the cycle of yoyo dieting began. During the visit, the Dr. said "You need to lose at least 160 lbs. to get to a healthy weight and control your blood pressure." She committed to an eating plan and eliminated sodas." I decided to begin an exercise routine, which my doctor encouraged to assist in weight loss and muscle tone. My workout consisted of walking for 30 minutes, 5 days a week. Then, I slowly increased my workout to 45 - 60 minutes per day, adding strength training and kickboxing as my weight loss increased and I became more confident". After more than 21/2 years of working out consistently and eating healthy, she's now down 165 lbs., and no longer take high blood pressure medication!
