Marriage Equality Defeated by Magnets, or, "Natural Con Man"

Tonight, on a gainfully employed edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, we dish out all the news you can use on a quartet of head slapping stories, starting by going to the head of the class of stupidity with a post-graduate student at the University of Lagos in Nigeria who allegedly conducted some supposedly groundbreaking research to prove, without a doubt, that marriage equality is not only wrong, but also physically impossible…because of magnets.

Next, it can be said that good marriages are a mixture of hard work, passion and an equal footing. Well according to a British wife, that's all garbage. Meet Kate Thompson, who refuses to cook, clean and only has sex with her husband roughly once a decade. We'll share her story and her reasoning that selfishness works perfectly in her marriage.

Later, we may be closer to a true idiocracy than we would like to believe with news that a veteran New York librarian was stunned to learn this week that she was being fired after 41 years on the job — all because she defended a child whom her boss felt read too much.

And finally, when it's all said and done, a con man can never really change their stripes as controversial TV pitchman Kevin Trudeau, who in July was found in contempt for failing to pay a $37.6 million sanction against him for deceptive marketing, was ordered to jail today and remains in federal custody in Chicago. We'll see if he has a "Natural Cure" for the pickle he's in.
