379Canucks - Day 5 1974

1970 - the year the Canucks joined the NHL and this marks our first episode adn the first day of our cross Canada feature.  

We are driving over 12,000 km across Canada, visiting 179 communities in 40 days - and reliving each year the Vancouver Canucks have been in the NHL.  Along the way we'll be recording our thoughts, the things we see and the people we meet and reminising about the teams and players from the last 40 years. That's 379 Canadians from 179 towns and cities - 40 years in 40 days and more than 12,000 km of driving.  Join us for some live talk, or some daily recorded shows where we just can't get to a wifi hotspot.

Our focus and discussion will also cover people with differences or challenges.  One member of our team of 3 is Carson - and although he does have Down Syndrome, this hasn't impacted his accute memory for all details Canuck-related, nor his opinions about the team, the league and hockey in general.  Online, you're invited to view his photography skills, as this trip marks his entry into a professional career in photojournalism.
