Barry Brickey is a singer-songwriter, poet and horror author from Carleton, Michigan.

In November 2008, he released his first novel, “The Silence,” a horror story based upon a haunted farmhouse in Michigan.  Although the book is a work of fiction, many of the incidents in the story are factual. “The Silence” is available to purchase online or through local bookstores in eBook, paperback and hardback publication.  He also has poetry published in Susan Noguera's books of images and writing, Primary Colors in Nature: Renderings of the Natural World and Secondary Colors in Nature: Renderings of the Natural World, and is published in the National Library of Poetry.

In October 2008, Barry released a solo CD of original music entitled “Vibe.”  “Vibe” is a fifteen-track collection reflecting his diverse musical influences, including pop, classic rock, hard rock and acoustic instrumentals.  He has been playing guitar since the age of fifteen and has performed on the local club scene for over twenty-four years, mostly with his current band, Armed-N-Dangerous and his solo project, “Beatlebarry: Acoustical Tribute to The Beatles.”  He is also active in his community, supporting fundraisers and benefits, including Relay for Life.
