Childrens views and thoughts on the enviroment are very important on Natures Talk Show. In the second airing of our new series Witness, on Wednesday November 4th, please join me as I interview Talon Blottin along with his father Mark and my own daughter, Madison, to discuss how these youngsters feel about the state of our environment.  In our first episode, I interviewed my father and father-in-law and got their perspective.  Now it’s time to see what the newest generation sees as our most pressing problems, what they are learning in schools, and what they are personally doing to help out the environment.

I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing these two on the show before and look forward to getting them together on Wednesday night.  I’m interested to see the perspective of our youth on important environmental issues, and ask them not only what they think, but what they are exposed to in school and at home in regards to recycling, climate change, and other environmental issues.

Along with the kids, I expect to have a good exchange with Mark, Talons dad as to what we as parents perceive as the threats to our environment, as well as our role in educating our kids.  As parents, we are ultimately responsible for the content and understanding of the kids, as well as ensuring that our actions and inactions do not reflect directly or indirectly on the kids.  Our own environmental ethics can weigh heavily on them, and the decisions we make can affect them for years to come.

So join us on Wednesday night at 9 PM EST on November 4th on Witness. Remember, we are all witness to what is happening around us, it’s up to each of us to become participants.  So participate by tuning in to the discussion and join in by calling into out show line or on our web page discussion board Wednesday night.
