Washington and Chicago were tied up at 3-3 after eight in D.C. but a leadoff walk came around to score on an RBI double to left-center by Albert Almora, Jr. in what ended up a 4-3 win for the Cubs in Nationals Park. The win gave Chicago a 5-1 advantage in the season series with Washington and set up a rubber match in the nation's capital which will feature Stephen Strasburg vs Jason Hammel at 4:05 PM.
