Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to pose with an ancestor? Nancy Gershman is a Digital Artist who transposes the present into the past. This is useful for those who are researching their ancestors, and want a pictorial history. Tune in for an interview with Nancy Gershman, as she shares about, "Healing Dreamscapes."  Nancy Gershman is a meaning-maker and private mythologist specializing in legacy portraiture. Using photographs, memories, family lore and genealogical history, her custom fine art photomontages tell a story about the whole person a) by remixing and repurposing photos to reveal truth and beauty that offsets loss and regrets and b) by augmenting the scene with historical imagery that stands in for scenes for which there are no photos. Her photomontages look like a snapshot from a dream. Perhaps most precious of all is the oral history and poetry her work engenders in those who receive her gifts.

Tune in and Listen UP!

This show is dedicated to my beloved grandson, Kerry Baxter Junior who was taken from us on January 16, 2011. We love and miss him, and he is and always will be a part of our family!
