Bishop’s head cold is cause for celebration. For, because of this, she will be airing the second and most important talk in the prayer series: Prayer and its Consequences.

If you love the intersection of science and faith; if you love that physicists are frustrated that medieval monks knew more about quantum particles than they did; if you want to know, not THAT prayer works, but WHY and HOW it works, then THIS is 90 minutes well-spent!!

In this episode, Bishop Rake talks about her favorite subject: the parts of science that point to the fact that there IS a God. What does quantum physics have to do with the Hail Mary? Does God answer prayer or do we make prayer happen? Award winning preacher, theologian, and lecturer, Rev. Bishop Kristina Rake, explains what prayer is spiritually and in terms of modern scholarship on the subject. She then turns to the physics of prayer, explaining how it is something as simple as a prayer of eacceptance ("Thy Will Be Done") can change reality on a fundamental level.

Next week, October 27th at 7 pm, will be the original broadcast: How to Pray 6: Meditation.
