This is the first lecture in our series, Prayer for Beginners. This lecture is entitled, Prayer and Its Consequences.

Award winning preacher, theologian, and lecturer, Rev. Bishop Kristina Rake, explains what prayer is spiritually and in terms of modern scholarship on the subject. She then turns to the physics of prayer, explaining how it is something as simple as a prayer of eacceptance ("Thy Will Be Done") can change reality on a fundamental level.

This lesson will include several prayer exercises for the week that one can download from the church's website, www.charismatic-universalist.org.

You do NOT have to listen to every episode to use this series. You can jump around as you are able. You also can jump in at any point and still follow what is being said. Each episode is self-contained.
