Child Support - Do we need to revisit the system?

It has been argued that child support is unfair to millions and millions of people. The laws are antiquated and many of them need to be changed. If the laws were changed, would men (and few women) more readily pay their child support and, consequently, be more supportive of the children and the mother? Are good men and women going to jail for failure to pay child support? Is it a desire NOT to pay or are they UNABLE to pay? Let's talk in depth about this and more! We want to discuss this heated issue....when do we move past the unfairness for adults and move to FULL concern for the children. Are parents holding their kids hostage because of child support battles?!
