Michele is on the board of the There Goes My Hero Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to restore hope to Leukemia patients and their families through increasing bone marrow registrants, providing nutritious meals, and supporting blood cancer research.  The organization was founded by Erik Sauer, who is a fellow leukemia survivor and bone marrow transplant recipient.

Michele herself has benefited from a bone marrow transplant and has become a most fervent supporter of bone marrow registries, we'll learn more about that and the foundation's upcoming fundraiser.
