ACTS 13:1- 5 PAUL'S FIRST MISSIONARY JOURNEY.
Vs. 1. Now there were in he church that was at antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and saul.
vs. 2. as they ministred to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Seperate me barnabas and saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
{ Paul and Barnabas are sent by the Holy Spirit and the Church as Missionaries to the Jews. }
Vs. 3. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
Vs. 4. So they being sent forth by he Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence sailed unto Cyprus.
Vs. 5. And when they were at Salamis, t5hey preached the Word of Godin the synagogues of the Jews; and they also had John to theuir minister.
