Eros the Fool. electronica like you have never heard it

Eros the Fool began his musical career in Brooklyn, New York. Born out of the tribal electronic, downtempo, Latin-­-infused movement pervading his neighborhood, Bushwick, and the world that was steeped in an unusual community of sound.  This movement and sound was full of healing, fire rituals, honor to the earth, ancient teachings, plant medicine and most of all conscious expression through words, music and dance. Eros teamed up with Oceana Son and They started playing live shows together in Brooklyn after coproducing Oceana’s debut EP Sun Inside. They shared the stage with Uji, and El Buho at X-Marks the Loft and later focused their energy at La Mezcaleria, Ajijic, Mexico to play with Lagartijeando and Kaleema.

Before their collaboration, Eros spent twenty years in NYC leading a rockin’ funk and soul band, The Truthseekers. Venues include; Blue Note Jazz Club, ApolloTheater, SVA Theatre with Boyd Tinsley and many more, joining stars like Annie DeFranco and Pete Seeger.  They played at New York’s most famous clubs like  CBGB, The Bitter End, The Living Room and Arlene’s Grocery.  As the The Truthseekers they released two full length albums and two EPs. Eros and Oceana are currently scheduling with festivals and working on new productions to be released this year.
