Networking for Success: Effectively Using Social Media

Many people would argue that technology has stifled interpersonal communication.  Social media, text messaging, and other forms have becomed the preferred way of communicating for many people.  And why wouldn't it be?  It's quick.  It's convenient.  It can be done from most anywhere. 

The fact of the mater is this technology is here to stay.  New and improved forms of communication are being developed and created daily.  Like it or not, it's here to stay.

With this in mind, the question becomes how can we use this technology  to builda worldwide network that's mutually beneficial to everyone involved? Instead of trying to buck the system and get rid of technology, how can we make it work to our benefit?
