A Work in Progress - Episode 9

Welcome to Episode 9. Today we will begin reading from The Acts of the Apostles Chapter 1:1-26. This book records the ascension and second coming of the Lord Jesus, the outpouring of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost, the Jesus Doctrine that the Apostles preached, along with the miracles, signs and wonders they performed and Saul whose name became Paul after his conversion. Paul's relationship with Christ Jesus, I believe teaches us that we can walk in the Spirit and make no provisions for our flesh. He did not see the Lord in the flesh like the other disciples but had to by faith form a spiritual relationship. We are instructed to "follow Paul as he follows Christ". That to me is wise counsel. The revelation of Jesus Christ that Paul reveals in his God inspired writings lets you know that he knew Jesus. As Paul states in Philippians 3:8 (KJV)"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," My desire is to not only win Christ but to manifest him to a lost and dying world.
