20/20 anchor Elizabeth Vargas brings home the meaning of Easter through the story of four "miraculous" recoveries

To Christians around the world, this Friday is the holy day known as Good Friday, and also happens to mark the fifth anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II.

On Friday, Elizabeth Vargas brings an hour exploring the road to sainthood within the Catholic Church. 20/20 reports on four “miracles” from around the country involving Saints, or sainthood candidates, and their intercession in the delivery of miracles.

At the center of the story are four ordinary Americans—people of varying ages, regions and genders—whose miraculous recoveries have either made Saints...or may be about to.
