Basketball’s Rick Fox joins ‘Melrose Place’ next week, but first he’s gotta get by Mr. Media!


Former Los Angeles Laker turned actor Rick Fox will become a recurring character on one of the city's most famous destinations, "Melrose Place." On the show, a contemporary take on the popular 1990s soap, Fox will play the owner of the restaurant where all the aspiring actors on the show work.

Fox, whose series credits include "One Tree Hill," "Ugly Betty" and "The Game," will also be the celebrity host of ACME Saturday Night at the ACME Comedy Theatre in L.A. this Saturday, October 24, 2009 @ 8 p.m. PT.

You might also recognize Fox as “Ugly Betty” star Vanessa William’s ex- or as the current boyfriend of “Dollhouse” star Eliza Dushku..
