Indie film producer Raymond Schogel tells Mr. Media what he’ll do For Love & Stacie!

Raymond Schlogel is an independent director/producer/cinematographer/editor/writer/entrepreneur.

He read somewhere that Steven Soderbergh was working on a film called Full Frontal and shooting much of it with a Canon XL1. Figuring if it was good enough for Soderbergh it was good enough for him, a week later one Schlogel bought one from a Hawaiian wedding videographer via eBay for $1,875. That was April 2002; less than a year later he made the leap to full time video production.

Despite this unusual start, somehow he made name for himself and, with some luck, garnered five awards for music videos he directed, edited and produced, later winning two more for the feature-length film, For Love & Stacie.

Schlogel joins Mr. Media to talk about his film and the challenges of being a truly independent film producer. You can watch his film for free HERE!
