Natural Gas - it seems to be the primary focus among the supporters of the Pickens Plan, or is it? ...and why?
T. Boone Pickens says it's the "bridge fuel" and the first step in bringing America toward Energy Independence, while others are saying it's "just another carbon fuel" and will endanger our future water supplies.
The Natural Gas Act will most likely pass through the House this year, and many hope it will create jobs and improve our national security. Is this an important goal and worth the price of contaminating our water?... a resource that could one day be more valuable than oil!
Is this really a concern? Don't we have the technology to drill for whatever we want without damaging the environment? What is Hydrofracking?
