    Eva von Bahr is a Swedish makeup designer, wigmaker and makeup artist. Eva has worked on more than 50 feature films including David Finchers The girl with the dragon tattoo and The 100 year-old man who went out the window and disappeared.Together with her husband Love Larson she runs The Makeup Designers Stockholm AB and through their company they have contributed to most Swedish film and TV productions.     Four-time Oscar-nominee and Governor of the Sound Branch for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, Mark Mangini is one of the world's top sound designers one of the most well-respected experts in his field. Starting in sound effects work in the 1970’s for cartoons like “Scooby-Doo” and “Godzilla,” he quickly transitioned to feature films in the 1980’s, among them Oscar nominees and winners Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Poltergeist, Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and Star Trek IV, which earned him his first Oscar nomination for Best Effects-Sound Effects Editing. His next two would be for Disney’s Aladdin and Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element (the film’s only nomination). Mangini is also a globally sought-after speaker and lecturer. At 2015’s “Sound on Film” conference, Mangini delivered the keynote address, announcing that “great sound begins with storytelling, just like film editing, just like directing,” and that “sound guys” are all too often seen as technicians rather than creative collaborators.   • Profile: Peter King/Makeup and Hair Designer/Oscar Win/Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

    Renowned Makeup and Hair Designer, Peter King, began his career in 1970 when he left school and was involved in a variety of small theatre companies. This career change culminated with Peter heading up an arts centre for two years before realizing his path would be in Makeup and Hair. Peter began work at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre in 1980 where he met Peter Owen.A major highlight of Peter’s career was designing the original theatre productionof “Phantom of the Opera,” now playing all over the world. From that point,Peter has focused on a successful career in film with his forte in wig design and period work. He received the highest of honors winning both the Oscar and BAFTA for his exceptional work on the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, distinguishing himself as a master of his craft. In 2007 Peter collaborated once again with famed director Peter Jackson on DreamWorks’ “The Lovely Bones.” 2009 proved to be a very busy year. Peter was the designer on Rob Marshall’s star studded film “Nine” which included a cast full of Oscar winners including Daniel Day-Lewis and Nicole Kidman, bringing him for the seventh time in his career, a BAFTA nomination.
