Pineora Kartway Talks Charity and Fundraising

Pineora Kartway is having it second annual Family Fun Day. This year it is to raise money to help Tiffeny.

This is a fun day for a great cause. Tiffeny is a 16 year old young lady who has lupus (which has attacked her kidneys) and stage 4 lung disease, she is a student a ECHS but is on home bond as of now. Her doctors have told her she will need two years of Chemo therapy to try to cure the lupus. Tiffeny travels to Duke Medical University every two weeks for treatment each trip costs about $1,000. She has 3 other siblings and being a single parent of four the expenses are tough. Last year Pineora Kartway held this same benefit for Robbie Moore a 16 year old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On this day we were able to raise a little over $ 24,000 for the Moore family. On this day we had bouncies, rides, a silent auction, raffles, t-shirt sales,faster pastor races, and teacher vs. teacher racing. This day was a blast for all ages.
