Sonia Williams is the founder of Sblended Blend. Sblended stands for Supporting Biracial Leaders Establishing Nationwide Diversity Every Day. Sblended is a website based community that provides information, education and support for biracial and multiracial individuals and their families. Sonia has always had a passion for diversity, and leadership and at the age of 13 founded a California based mixed race sisterhood called the O.G Mixed Girls along with her sister Melina Williams. The sisterhood of this group continues to grow in numbers, has expanded throughout the United States and is followed by continued generations. Sonia Williams is also the founder of her current college based group called (AIM) which stands for "As I AM" and aims to connect biracial, multiracial and all other minorities through educational support, leadership, and motivation.

Sonia's mother born in Belgium is French and her father born in California is African American. She grew up in a very large family being the youngest of 7 on her mother’s side and 1 of 4 on her father’s side. Sonia embraced her heritage very early in life and has always found fulfillment in connecting and encouraging individuals that have embraced all of their identities to those individuals that may be struggling with their identity. Sonia hopes that through the creation of her educational and supportive website SBLENDED, her current book and future writings on leadership, and the established sisterhood of over 25 years "O.G Mixed Girls" she can build an atmosphere in which all "others" no longer feel like "others" but instead become leaders that securely accept ownership of all identities within them.
