April was last seen on January 11, 2000 leaving her residence, an apartment complex in the 500 block of Marion Road in Wichita, Kansas, wearing a white t-shirt, a navy blue jacket with gray lining, flared jeans and white tennis shoes and has never been seen or heard from again. 
 
Her friend told authorities that she saw April heading towards Pawnee and Broadway Streets between 10:00-10:30PM that evening. Investigators believe that she may have had her pager, apartment keys and wallet with her. 
 
April has three dots tattooed on her left hand between the base of her thumb and wrist. She also has several scars underneath her left pinky finger. 
 
April was scheduled to testify in a felony trial two days after her disappearance, however authorities do not know (or won’t say) if her disappearance is connected to the trial or if other factors are involved in her case. 
 
April was initially classified as a runaway, but investigators have since stated that she vanished under “unclear circumstances”.
