Tonight’s guest is Karlee Sapoznik, President/CEO of Alliance Against Modern Slavery. AAMS is non-partisan and non-denominational, AAMS aims to combat modern slavery by collecting resources, building programs, and creating alliances among a network of local and global partners so that every person has the opportunity for sustainable freedom.

Karlee and I met in person in January 2011 when she invited me to the launch of AAMS. There was a concert on the 28 and a conference on the 29 and I was honoured to be part of both.

Mission: To research, educate and aid in partnership with public, private, non-profit, and governmental organizations to end slavery in local and global communities.

Description: AAMS is incorporated and registered as a not-for-profit charitable organization.
