JOIN ME TO WELCOME LINDY SMITH AND SARAH HOLBURN-DOIRON:

My 1st guest tonight is Linda Little Smith, but most people call her Lindy. Lindy is a mother, a stepmother, a grandmother and a missing person’s advocate. Her 29 year old mentally ill stepdaughter, Tasha Marie Smith, walked out of her group home December 1, 2010 in Cambridge Ontario, and vanished into thin air without any of her belongings, money or ID. Tasha’s disappearance has opened Lindy’s eyes to the many other missing people in her area and across Canada.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Last week we had Heather (not her real name) call in to the show about her daughter, Angel (not her real name). Angel was the victim of a kidnapping and was rescued and on her way to becoming a survivor of this crime. Angel spoke briefly to the listeners, but was overwhelmed by it all and had to go.

I got this message from her today: "The Other night when my mom called in. I listened in and for once I didn't feel so loney. And it's hard for me to feel like that."

So she sat down and "Wrote a story. Short story. About what happened to me". Tonight, Angel is calling in with her story. And she will be okay to answer questions.

My 2nd guest is Sarah Holburn-Doiron, has been living a nightmare of her own for the past 7 years. Her daughter Kyla was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. Sarah will share what happened to Kyla with us in a heart-wrenching story of pain and heartache and what she has done in her daughter's name since, including founding M.A.M.A.s of Canada (Mothers Against Murderous Acts).
