Each year millions of high school seniors leave their hometowns to attend the college or university of their choosing. Join us this month as we present “Minding Your Money – College Style” In this episode we will address the financial issues of being a college student. Sadly the average college student graduates with huge debt burdens. According to the Project on Student Debt, “the average 2006 graduate carried $21,100 in loans” and over $2,200 in credit card debt. In addition to talking about the financial stress of going to college we will also address the emotional adjustments required to be successful in college.
