Today's guest is David Watkins, children's books author of six books, the latest is The Awesome Book of Cars.

One of David's mother's favorite phrases was, "Without the love of books, the richest man is poor." Written on the classroom wall in the school his mother attended in the 1930's, the phrase resonated with David and has fueled his passion for both reading and writing.He does children's workshops on drawing and lettering. He has spoken at churches, schools and community events.
