JM was first introduced to Hip Hop when his family moved from his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica to the Washington, DC area. A lifelong Hip Hop fan, JM's music career began while he was away for college. One day, a flyer caught his eye for a talent show being held that very night. Acting on a whim, he entered the competition and won.
After college JM returned to Washington and started working a corporate job, never forgetting how it felt to be in college doing what he really loved. Never forgetting that dream, he reassured himself that he would create music soon enough. After putting it off for too long, JM decided that soon enough isnt soon enough and that the only way to get to where he wants to be is to live [NOW]. That day, he began working on his debut album "Soon Enough {isn't Soon Enough}".

  1.  "Soon Enough {isn't Soon Enough}" tracks JM's time between college and the creation of this album. The album provides an intimate peek into a world where your only limitation is your ambition. Artfully drawing parallels between this fictionalized world and modern day culture, the album melodically encourages the listener to free themselves by embracing ambition and imagination.
