Write Act Repertory Producing Artistic Director John Lant is pleased to announce the Off-Broadway premiere of WICKED FROZEN, the untold parody musical of some magic ice witch princesses and other stuff like that, with book and lyrics by Zoe Farmingdale and music and lyrics by Toby Singer. The production is directed and choreographed by Zoe Farmingdale

Previews are Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, April 1 at 7:30 pm. Opening is set for Sunday, April 8 at 7:30 pm. Performances then run Sundays at 7:30 pm, through July 22. St. Luke's

WICKED FROZEN is a high-energy parody musical mash-up celebrating and skewering two wildly successful pop culture phenomena, with over a dozen amazing original songs. When Adele Dazeem and her teacher Kristen Chenobell become trapped in a Boston classroom during a freak blizzard things take a turn for the absurd as Adele sets off on a journey through the magical land of Scandinorfindelle. Wicked Frozen is not only a subversive satire on six cups of coffee, but also a reminder that even when things may only 'be okay,' it's the people around us that truly matter. www.wickedfrozen.com

Featured in the cast are Kathleen Armenti, Lily Davis, Allison Frasca, Wills Jacobs, Tyler Joseph, Vanessa Magula, Jake McKenna, Chris Evan Simpson, Natalie Sullivan, Bethany Nicole Taylor and Meagan Wells.

We will be talking with musical director Toby Singer and book and lyricist Zoe Farmingdale.
