The Jackson Heights Beautification Group is proud to announce the upcoming Jackson Heights Orchestra concert led by Maestro Patricia Glunt in its’ second concert of the season. The concert will take place on February 3rd, 2018 at 4:00 in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church located at 33-50 82nd St. Jackson Heights.

The orchestra will present Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and soloist Alison Kang will lead a short pre-concert educational program for families at 3:00. The will be a reception following the concert at the church and all are invited.

Performing the concert will be the JHO strings, and featured soloists are Susan Metcalf, concertmaster of the JHO and South Shore Orchestra, Alison Kang, principal second violin JHO,  Juilliard graduate and freelance artist, Claire Smith Bermingham, co-founder of the Baroque ensemble “Queens Consort”, and Natalie Kriegler, member JHO and artistic director of “Capriccio Ensemble”. ASCAP award winning composer and assistant conductor of the JHO,Joseph Bartolozzi will join the JHO on harpsichord and JH resident and professional stunt coordinator, Bryce Bermingham will narrate the sonnets.

Tickets are $20 and $10 for seniors and students/children and can be bought at the door on the day of the concert, or in advance  online at jhbg.org or at Table Wine 79-14 37th Ave and Expresso77 35-57 37th St.
