Whirl With Merle

New York City is the place for Art Expo 2017 where artists from all over the world get to display and sell their artwork.  This year the location is at Pier 94 running from April 21 to April 24.

Artist Chang Yu Ming will talk about his art and the particular piece or pieces being featured. 

Chang Yun Ming

Born in 1941 in Taiwan, Chang Yun Ming studied ink painting in National Taiwan University of Arts. In 1999, he went to study creativity fine art in Lindenwood University, USA, artists and movements such as Buffet and COBRA have strongly influenced his style, such that he has changed the material in which he works from. He currently uses oil and different medium freely on canvas to explore unique aesthetics that incorporates calligraphic lines and lyrical colours. He is an international artist, since the year 2000, he has had solo exhibitions in USA, Singapore and Malaysia. He has also taken part in group shows in Mosco, New York, Spain, France, East Europe and China. His work has been collected world widely by public collections, art galleries, museums, and private foundations and collectors.
We are thrilled to bring his lately art in the New York Art exhibition in 2017. In his current approach to the theme is about the universe, the relations between death and life, human and nature, which he captured within his inner self, while discussing more on Chinese ancient literature, culture, poems, and metaphysical Taoist philosophy. He represents his comprehension of man’s life by proficiency skills and his art language. Powerful, tonic, and rigorous composition with a sense of humorous symbol, his painting provides it with the freshness of an independent eye.
