Frank Badami literally grew up in Television. As a child if he wasn’t in school, playing drums or baseball he was with his father in a television studio, on the set, at a remote location shoot or in an office at a budget or writers meeting.
After working for his father, Frank’s first formal job in television was running Reeves Cinetel in New York City. Frank started producing in New York City. He completed 100 plus of the early television mail order commercials, ranging from those 2 minute compilation record album sales spots through selling jewelry. He has produced drama, comedy and variety. He has shot throughout the United States and Europe. Before leaving NYC for Hollywood, Frank gave over 30 lectures to The New School of Social Research on Television production. Frank has worked for many of the major Studios and Independents in Hollywood. He produced the first modern day one hour dramatic pilot to be shot in the USA on video tape, single camera style on location and in a studio.
