Photobucket My guest this week is an advocate for what she calls, "TDP", or the temporarily dissconnected person. Sherri has written the book, Connection, and explores the idea of people like Van Goh, Virginia Wolff, Patti Duke, T.S. Elliot, Earnest Hemingway and many artists, writers, poets and geniuses who received messages of doom known as psychosis, paranoia and hallucinations, yet are extremely gifted as well. What is the connection between everyday people who experience psychic revelations and end up institutionalized and those who don't? Join us as Sherri shares her personal experiences growing up psychic and how she has made it her life mission to help others who are struggling with being labeled mentally ill. Sherri has written two books, had two radio shows, been on TV in the SW Florida area, and has spent the past 20 years working in the nursing field. She purchased 5 acres of land in Virginia in the hopes of realizing her dream to build "Imagine" a healing center for the soul. Sherri's web site is: www.imaginepeacenow.com
