The first part of this week's show on a Medicine of Truth and Hope is about the truth factor as usual, and we will explore how the NFL hands out pain killers (addictive opioids) like candy, gets professional football players addicted, then when they retire, the NFL throws them away like garbage as they sit on their billions of Super bowl profits. A recent study published in the Journal of Alcohol and Drug Dependence makes the case for this human tragedy. But that's OK as the depraved indifference of corporate America is just conservative, corporate, business as usual.

Also, the liberal and conservative media keep advertising those drug ads for anti-smoking products that don't work, but hey, give the sponsors what they want. Both sides remain clueless about the truth, so Donna and the Doc will set them straight.
