Media Nite Radio welcomes to the airwaves singer, songwriter Marty Shannon.
Marty was raised in Sarasota, Florida. and the is the youngest of four siblings. Through his parents influence, he was exposed to such legends as Al Green, Sam Cooke and Bill Withers. In his teenage years, Marty’s appreciation for music took shape in the form of the music of John Mayer and Jason Mraz. After Marty recognized his passion for playing music, he played everywhere including, Starbucks, restaurants and bars, etc.
Marty then moved to Los Angeles and has since played such venues, as House of Blues, The Whiskey, The Viper Room, The Roxy and countless other venues.
Marty has just recently released his debut album titled, "Before The Love Goes" which is available on iTunes.
His love for classic R&B legends and current pop icons shines brightly in his music.
