ABC News' David Muir on the Menu

April 24 - Today on the mediabistro.com's Morning Media Menu we're joined by ABC News' David Muir.

The World News Saturday anchor is moving to Friday this week, for a report on tonight's 20/20 about the "Black Widow" murder case. The report took him back to his hometown of Syracuse, which is also where he got his start in the TV news business.

We'll talk to Muir about 20/20 and more.

Across the board, newsmagazines continue to see ratings success. "You know that there's still an appetite for heavy lifting, heavy interviewing," he said. "What 20/20 does is not only tries to do that, and offer up some of these murder hours, but also take them a step further...So it's kind of the challenge of making these stories new, fresh and revealing."
