Ms. Meyers is currently overseeing the firm’s Digital Water Pavilion, in construction by Ground Zero, and headed for LEED Platinum certification. In 2009 Ms. Meyers was one of ten women architects featured in Buildblog’s ‘Women making an Impact’. In 2010 hMa’s work was recognized with 6 design awards, including the 2010 Heritage Award for the firm’s Master Plan design for Battery Park City’s North Neighborhood.
In 2006, Ms. Meyers published ‘Designing with Light’ with Laurence King Publishers & Abbeville Press, cataloging hMa’s research into natural light. Ms. Meyers has a leading role in bringing green practices to hMa, through post-professional research. Ms. Meyers was a featured lecturer at the Sustainable Cities Design Symposia in Boston & Washington, D.C. (2009). Ms. Meyers currently has a book in development: ‘Shape of Sound’, in collaboration with Mark Holden, principal, Jaffe Holden Acoustics.
Ms. Meyers received her M. Arch from Harvard and an A.B. in Art History/ Civil Engineering from Lafayette College. In 2011, Ms. Meyers received her LEED Green Associate credential from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
