DARKNESS CAN NOT COMPREHEND LIGHT

COMPREHENDED = katalambano = to lay hold of so as to make one's own, to obtain, attain to, to make one's own, to take into one's self, appropriate, to seize upon, take possession of.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:4-5

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 3:19

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12

Jesus (Yahushuwah) has the ability to possess and animate every soul with his heavenly light and that light will become evident and come to view but your body, tabernacle or flesh will intercept that light and you will not be able to lay hold, obtain or take possession of the power of understanding moral and spiritual truth.
