God Has Given Us Roles To Fulfill--not Titles to Wear!

Part II from last week--God gave us roles to fulfill, not titles to wear! While we were talking about all the titles that people think they need to be somebody, God revealed--as only He can--that the titles people have heaped upon themselves are actually the roles God expects us to fulfill in order to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

If we look at Paul's life--not once did he ever say, "I am Apostle Paul." We have said that. Paul said he is an apostle. We have distorted and manipulated God's Word so that the emphasis in our use of titles is on us, rather than on God!

Look at how many people are wearing titles that God never intended them to have and they are certainly not fulfilling the role of what they say they are. How can anyone be an apostle who has never truly met Jesus and never planted a single church--some have not planted a single good seed or have sown anything other than attention to themselves and discord?

We have more bishops, apostles, evangelists and pastors running around trying to be somebody when they need to get to know Jesus--in His fullness--and then Jesus could lift them in the role assigned to them--not the title.

If we ever get this right--fulfilling roles and not wearing titles, the world could be changed--turned upside down and the enemy defeated--when we move out of self and allow Holy Spirit to reign in all we do.
