Our guest speaker is Nicole Marie who will share with us the tragic death of her precious Grandmother, Patricia Shank who at the age of 85 was found dead in her room at a nursing home on January 21, 2021. She was left alone and locked in her room and not allowed visits from her family during the absurd covid lockdowns and she died alone!

Patricia’s family was in the process of moving her out of the facility after the quarantine. Two days prior to her death, Nicole was talking to her on the phone and while her Grandmother opened her door to ask for a glass of water, Nicole heard someone yelling at her to get back in her room. She was allergic to morphine and yet was given morphine and Ativan because she dared to attempt to remove the IV with the morphine. In previous years she had been an advocate for others and had a home where she took care of other people and then to die this way is unconscionable. The very system she had protected others from is the system that hastened her death, the ultimate betrayal.

Our program is about providing information to the public that you might not otherwise hear to protect you or your loved one from medical predators. It is not about politics or religion but sometimes these topic cross over into medical care.
