If you are denied upon an initial application for benefits in the state of New York, you have 60 days to appeal and request a hearing in front of an Administrative Law Judge. At the hearing, you will be asked to provide testimony and evidence as to why you are unable to work. Sounds fairly simple. Think again.

Winning a case at the hearing level is harder than you think. And losing a disability claim at this level could result in the loss of thousands of dollars for you and your family.

New York Disability lawyers Brian Mittman and Scott Daniels will discuss a topic that's rarely talked about: How to lose at the hearing level. There's plenty of information out there about winning a disability claim, but if you know how one can lose a claim, you will be more prepared than anyone.
