Impact South Africa - Danya Steele Making a Difference

At age 17, Danya Steele was named one of Teen People Magazine’s “20 Teens Who Will Change The World” for her work in new media and youth culture. Since then, she’s gone on to do a wide variety of things. In early 2008, Danya joined the team of a leading midtown-based hedge fund, considered widely to be one of the most stable funds in the world. She left that great fund in part, to commit to this project. She began traveling throughout South Africa this summer to write a book on young South Africans doing remarkable things.
