Landscape designer Vivian Piazza joins this week's podcast

Join co-hosts Mark McNease and Rick Rose as we welcome ally, friend and guest Vivian Piazza. Vivian is a landscape designer and owner of Earth Angel Garden Design in Nassau County, NY.    After spending over 20 years in the music business, Vivian left the corporate world and, following her passion for plants and design, re-invented herself.

At the height of her music business career, Vivian was VP of Media Relations for Epic Records, part of Sony Music.   Spanning 24 years and four record labels, she has handled PR campaigns for Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Luther Vandross, Cyndi Lauper, Bonnie Raitt, Crowded House, and hundreds of other musical artists.  

In 2003, as the music business was changing and labels were downsizing, Vivian was laid off.  Although music was (and still is) a huge part of her life, instead of staying in a shrinking business, she went back to school (at the age of 44) and studied Horticulture and Landscape Design.   She designs rooftop and terrace gardens, as well as residential and commercial landscapes.   She literally went from having an office with a view of the park to working in the park!
