In 2007, she received the Jefferson Award for Humanitarian Service for my leadership in this field. She is the Founder/Director of Ambassadors of Hope and Opportunity (AHO), a 7-year old nonprofit organization providing a "safety net" of guidance, comprehensive resources and leadership opportunities for homeless youth in Marin County, CA.
