Grassroots groups are preparing to file a mass action lawsuit regarding the unconstitutionality of the Healthcare Legislation.
This effort known as Project Liberty is seeking ten thousand plaintiffs from across the country with the same beliefs.
The plan is being challenged on the basis of the limited government claim spelled out in the Ninth and Tenth Amendment. It also challenges the constitutionality based on the First Amendment, including the right of individuals to object to being forced to pay for abortions, thus violating the free exercise of their religion.
One of the unique aspects of this litigation is that The Justice Foundation, of San Antonio, Tx, is also representing women and men who have been devastated by abortion.<>
