Loretta McNary Live is a premier blog talk radio show created for an empowered, active, and diverse TV, radio, social media and online listening audience. LML uses a progressive live call in format to target an ever expanding market of online listeners wanting an impressive menu of meaningful, insightful, and authentic conversations in choosing their daily media.

Our guest today is Christopher Sasha, author of the recently-released book Transforming Your Lifestyle One Belief at a Time (ABsolutely FABulously FIT, LLC, 2012), Sasha’s background and life experiences aren’t exactly typical of the hugely successful business person. Voted “Most Likely to Spend His Life in Jail” by his high school classmates, Sasha had numerous scrapes with the law growing up on the gritty streets of Chicago. Losing his mother when he was just eight, and with he and his four siblings proving too much for his father, he was bounced around from one foster home to another. He was scrawny, nearly-emaciated at times and always picked last as a teammate on the playground.

He dropped out of collegeand lster went back to school. But not just any school. He enrolled in prestigious DePaul University, surprising himself at being accepted, and where his new-found dedication to putting his life together had him studying hard and earning him a spot on the Dean’s List. He graduated with a finance degree.

Meanwhile, Sasha continued bodybuilding, something he had been introduced to through a friend while at DePaul. Soon he was doing it competitively. He went back to modeling with great success, sticking with it even through the lean times common to those trying to make a name for themselves in such a highly-competitive field.
